HOTEL URBAN

Sector: Commercial
Location: St Leonards, NSW

This project for the Hotel Urban situated on the leafy lower North Shore of Sydney was to carry out exterior painting works.

Here, using the latest abseil painting techniques Dukes helped create a fresh new look for this boutique hotel, whilst the hotel was in full operation.

With careful project planning, we were able to keep guest interruption to a minimum. We colour matched the paint to the existing render to create a cohesive look and feel to overall façade.

CHATEAUX

Sector: Strata
Location: Breakfast Point, NSW

The Hamptons inspired “Chateaux”, an exclusive apartment complex in Breakfast Point provided us a detailed scope of works to clean, prepare and re-paint the exterior surfaces, as nominated by the Paint Consultant.

Here a combination of scaffolding and long reach boom enabled us to access the building, minimising disruption to residents whilst we carried out our works. Colours were matched with the existing scheme, blending wonderfully with the surrounding manicured gardens.

CONSTITUTION HILL

Sector: Retirement Living
Location: The Hills District, NSW

The residents of this resort style retirement community in the northwest of Sydney were pleased with our hands on approach to project management and our strong attention to detail in achieving a quality finish.

The scope of works for this project was to clean, prepare and re-paint the exterior surfaces of the Featherwood complex. The buildings now feature fresh new paintwork, which complement the wonderful manicured gardens.
 

PACIFIC HILLS CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Location: Dural, NSW

Working closely with the School Facilities Manager we were able undertake the works required throughout the school holiday period, completing the project within the timeframe required.

The scope of works for this project was to undertake a mix of both interior and exterior work to selected areas throughout the school, from internal classrooms to external walls and walkway paths. Students returned from their holidays to a vibrant new school look.

PROMINENCE APARTMENTS

Sector: Strata
Location: Zetland, NSW

Dukes successfully tendered for exterior painting works at Prominence Apartments, situated only moments from Sydney’s CBD.

Comprising of three distinct areas, Dukes scope of works was to clean, prepare and repaint the exterior surface as per the Dulux Specification.

Access to the high façade was gained primarily by rope, minimising the access costs and of course reducing the level of disruption to the residents. Views to the superb city skyline were therefore uninterrupted during this process.

GOSFORD OLYMPIC POOL

Location: Gosford, NSW

Dukes Protective Coatings successfully tendered on a project for the Gosford Olympic Swimming Pool. The scope of works included the preparation and painting of the internal steel roofing structure, preparation and installation of a new coating system to the pool surface using Luxapool® and also preparation and application of an epoxy coating to the pool surrounding edge using Dulux Protective Coatings.

The resulting finish was achieved on schedule, allowing the swimming classes to return to the pool on time.

CASTLE RIDGE RESORT

Sector: Retirement Living
Location: Castle Hill, NSW

Stockland Castle Ridge Resort is in the Castle Hill area, it is a serene place that offers everything needed for residents to retire in style.

Seeking a refresh of painted external areas, Stockland Castle Ridge went out to market via a competitive tender, to select a contractor to carry out the exterior works.

Upon review of the tender submissions, the Stockland team provided feedback that Dukes’ proposal was easy to understand, was clearly tailored towards the projects needs and provided greater detail about how the project would be carried out.

Seeking a proven record of a high level of workmanship, a demonstrated ability to manage large-scale painting projects and a competitive price in keeping with budget, Dukes were the appointed contractor.

During the course of the project, the Stockland team congratulated us on the excellent level of communication throughout the project, commenting that they appreciated the regular updates from the Project Manager and prompt answers to their queries.

The general feedback from the residents on site has been exceptional. Residents were kept informed throughout the painting project and they were also kept up to date about how they might be affected during works.

Dukes’ painters maintained a high standard professionalism by being respectful, polite and the residents were pleased with the great care was taken by the on-site team to minimise the impact of the project on the beautifully manicured gardens.
